I used to review books right after I finished them but recently after sitting with books for a while and my thoughts have developed more I have changed my mind and gone back and changed some reviews, for better or worse. So now I'm waiting longer, a few days to a couple weeks, before I review something. This ultimately works for me better now because how I feel after sitting with the book for a while is likely how I will feel about the book long-term and will be more accurate to my true feelings.
What are other's review timelines?
Note: there is no right way, I'm just curious 🧐

I joined Pagebound two months ago thinking a 50-book goal was plenty ambitious. 🫠 Then I hit 44 and panicked, so naturally, I moved the goalposts to 75 to keep the pressure on.
Meanwhile, I’m scrolling past people casually logging book #213 like it’s nothing. Massive respect BTW! ✨🌸
Where are we all at with our 2026 targets? Smashing it, moving the bar, or pretending the challenge doesn't exist?

Hi! I wanted to ask on your opinion on tracking books you read for school or work. Do you track only books read on your free time or also books read for work and why? I don’t have very strong opinions on the matter and don’t really care what others decide to do. I have an exam coming that requires me to read a few books and on one hand it feels tempting that I would get to tick off a few books of my yearly reading goal or just get the general feeling of accomplishment but on the other hand it kind of feels like cheating to me because the goal was set with free-time-books in mind… Thoughts?

I was watching a K-drama and the FMC mentioned that she’d started rewriting books she really loves by hand. Like, the ENTIRE book.
And honestly, I found that kind of fascinating? 😭 I’ve never thought of doing that, but I can see how it could be weirdly relaxing, especially with a book you really love.
Has anyone here ever actually done this? Or do you have a similar book-related hobby?
