I really wanted to keep going because the premise was so interesting and I was really looking forward to see how things unfold. The title of the book was one of the things that really grabbed my attention and I think it didn’t really resonate with the book. I found it slight difficult to remain invested with the plot because it slightly reminded me of that one Jennifer Lopez movie.

I loved the show but (almost like 99.99% of the time) the book is just a slightly bit better 🙂↕️
This was an easy, quick, and fun read. They made Simon so serious in the show but his personality shone in the book. His friendship with Anthony, as well as Daphne’s relationship with her brothers are actually so sweet and cute, I fear the show couldn’t do it justice 🫣
Anyway~ Reading The Duke and I made me more excited about reading the rest of the series 💕
