I googled the reviews and saw so many people didn't like the book. Now I'm wondering if I should even read it at all ...

Is it all down hill from here? Some say this is a slight deviation from her other books…did I start too high on the list and now I’ll be disappointed on anything else from Ali. These thoughts and more keep me up at night

I haven't been this invested in a book for a while now. Sometimes, the use of scientific words confuse me a little and I need to stop and look them up LOL but so far I like the storyline. This is probably the first time I'm reading a book where the main character is actively going to therapy.

  • TOG .... I feel like people lied

I really liked reading ACOTR, but I'm STRUGGLING to get through TOG. Please tell me the series gets better. I wanted to read Crescent City too, but now I'm not sure.

  • Romance Sub-subgenres

Romance readers, I simply must know: what is your favorite sub-genre within the sub-genre? If you like historical romance is your go to time travel or road trip or mystery? For my science fiction romance lovers, do you prefer space travel or mars-needs-women? Personally I want my historical to be rom-com with all other tropes and plot points up for consideration.

  • Listening vs Reading

I'm usually reading a book while listening to a different book for times when I'm doing mundane adult shit or hobbies where I can't have a book in my hand but want my mind engaged in a story. Anyone else think it would be cool to have a "listening" status or do you consider listening to audiobooks and reading physical books the same thing?
