"Charlie almost took out three spruce trees trying to start a conga line."
I was wondering what the first mention of Charlie was gonna be from Nova's POV and it did not disappoint 😭 I love me a goofy goober 😭
A love letter to Inglewild 💌 Picking up Lovelight Farms four years ago changed my life. The wholesomeness of this series and town is unmatched. Immediately, I felt a strong connection to these characters. How they felt, what they went through in small town dynamics, their struggles with love. Everything felt inexplicably relatable. The care and thought that B.K. put into this series is unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. To Stella and Luka, Beckett and Evelyn, Layla and Caleb, and finally, Charlie and Nova, each of you have shown me an all-encompassing love and understanding that I pray I get to experience. To B.K. Borison, no author has written more works that speak to who I am and how I feel than you. Without fail, every novel hits close to home and allows me to feel seen. To Lovelight, I will never forget this series. I doubt I’m physically capable of forgetting this series. This may seem like an over exaggeration to some but there is no other series of books where I can confidently say “I love each and every single character and book in this universe.” And I think that’s special 🩷
I knew I wanted to read about Charlie and Nova expeditiously but when the blurb came out, I was disappointed. I’m not a fan of “once to get it out of our system” tbh. So I put off reading this until last year. And you know what, I should’ve trusted B.K 😭 I knew my girl wouldn’t let me down and have it like mainstream FWB situations. This was still Inglewild. This was still Charlie Milford and Nova Porter. Once I started, I couldn’t put it down. However, I did pause for a year or so and that was b/c I was scared of a 3rd act conflict lol I’m always scared of a 3rd act conflict. I devoured the last 120 pages in one sitting, probably too fast b/c now I must reread and absorb the full experience of the Inglewild madness ♡ these are my babies and I will always love them (╥﹏╥)
