I’m kinda overwhelmed, tbh. There’s just way too much info dumped all at once, and it keeps jumping between timelines. The author leaves no real time to process anything before it moving straight to the next point.

Overall, it’s a rather sweet, festive story without excessive angst or drama, where all conflicts are resolved, surprisingly, via communication. I’m really drawn to the fact that the characters here are on the older side. It seems important to me to have rom-coms where the great, lifelong love doesn’t happen only to teenagers or people in their twenties.
