I just can’t keep going with this. It originally drew me in but I’ve just found myself so bored.

I don’t like DNFing books but one of my 2026 goals this year is to DNF as it’s okay to do that.

I don’t know if I can express how much I loved this book!

After Lightlark’s cliffhanger I knew I wanted to dive straight into Nightbane! I loved how it picked up straight from the previous book. I’m on team Grim and will be until the day I die.

I loved the format of the book with the chapter and then the delving into the past in the before sections. Grim and Isla’s relationship is beautiful and I love them so much. I’m warming to Oro. I like him but I’m not rooting for Oro and Isla to end up together although he does seem a reasonable man.

Also Lynx is an icon. Obsessed. I also loved the little delves into Isla learning more about her heritage with her parents and that Lynx was her mother’s. But also just I loved Isla’s character growth in this book and this book has truly solidified Isla Crown as one of my favourite FMC’s ever created.

This book was the perfect cutesy romance for February - finding love through a radio show which your daughter called into because she was worried you weren’t going out their and having fun.

I loved the concept of this book. The dynamic between the characters. Lucie, a single mum raising her daughter whilst also living next door to her ex who’s now married to his husband and I loved the whole family dynamic between the four of them. Grayson was just as invested in Lucie’s love life as their 12 year old daughter Maya. Aiden Valentine the formally charismatic host of Heartstrings has fallen out of love until Maya calls asking for advice for her mum. Aiden and Lucie end up hosting Heartstrings together through a new segment called Lucie’s Road to Love sponsored by Mr. Tyre.

I loved the way Aiden and Lucie’s relationship developed throughout the show and I loved when he came and rescued her from a failed blind date cause she got stood up 🥺

I normally hate the third act breakup/ miscommunication tropes normally but I understand why it was needed and I really felt for Aiden. The end of the book was so beautiful. I loved Aiden calling into the show when Lucie ended up hosting with meteorologist and Aiden’s bestfriend Jackson.

This book was just so beautiful and I’m excitedly awaiting ‘Now, Back to You’ which follows Jackson and Delilah - who we meet briefly in this book.

    This was a rollercoaster!

I really enjoyed this book and the continuation of Elsa and Aiden’s story. Especially after that cliff hanger.

I found the backgrounds of the characters being explored was very intriguing. Learning more about Elsa’s past as she discovered it herself as well as her crossed paths with Aiden as a child.

I still find her aunt unbearable, I can understand why she didn’t tell Elsa the truth but she just irritated me so much.

I’m very much looking forward to the next book and finishing Elsa and Aiden’s story! Because yet again another cliffhanger!
