Incredibly interesting read.

Reading for work. It's funny, not different from the first book in terms of pacing and writing.

I'm enjoying reading this book, but I still think it's a bit overrated and overhyped. I felt similarly about Kuang's other work as well, so it might be that she's just not the writer for me. I especially do not understand the reviews talking about the amount of references and academic details because it's simple... Not that impressive or difficult? It's a decent easy read in any case.
