"I didn't belong go the people on that bakery, but I didn't belong to these people either." This book has told this exact feeling in such a real way so far, the rebellion of Nima while also wanting to belong somewhere is palpable.

I loved this book. It's so honest and devastating yet hopeful. I don't really see how people think it's funny, I guess there were a few passages that were but mostly I was just shocked and mad at what her mom did to her even after her death. I would have loved to read more about how the journey of realizing what her mom did to Jennette went but I still really liked the way she concluded the book.
