(Review of the first 30 volumes)

Such a fun concept. I’ve been a fan of the anime since early childhood, and I’ve found the manga to be just as good! Definitely more of a comfort read, though. The slow development of the overarching plot, only natural given the sheer amount of volumes, might put some people off. And while there are lots of interesting and original detective cases, the format (with cases back to back) begins to feel repetitive. Still, the characters and funny moments make up for it imo.

The drawings are cute but nothing crazy.

PS. The show's OST is so so iconic — I highly recommend listening to it while reading!!
