Okay.. so, super early into this book, obvs.. however, I have a rose and a thorn already 😬 I like the characters! I'm enjoying the mystery of their back stories, their quips, and personalities! But.. Benitz clearly saw the additional popularity F1 was gaining and wanted to put her spin on it (SUPER valid!). However, it doesn't read as racing in the way that F1 goes. The races seem to be singular instead of a collective season of races for a set number of drivers, ie in this anyone can join a race if they qualify (unknown requirements), have registration money, and own a dragon. I feel like the races could be called something other than a Grand Prix. Idk, it's a non-issue, but is so far my only thorn
