This was like nothing I've read before, I could never guess where it would go and that was why I enjoyed it so much. This was a character-driven story but it also told you so much about living in Ireland in 2009-2010s. I also loved the writing, it was so easy to read.
Rachel (and the others) was such a complex character, but I just couldn't help but love her and root for her. The people around her though.. I wanted to scream at them (and also at Rachel) SO MANY TIMES!
If you want to read this, I recommend to start reading without knowing too much and just enjoy the ride.

Beautifully titled and beautifully written. Sarah Damoff's writing is very straightforward yet somehow feels like a poetry. Perfect depiction of generational trauma and familial (& romantic) love.
