I’m one of those people that can tackle a book on a Kindle or IPad in no time but won’t get through the physical copy of a book… out of curiosity has anyone noticed an e-book disappearing or no longer being on a service after purchasing? You know how you could buy something on iTunes but if the license is lost it’s gone? Is that possible with E-books?.. before I get too carried away with how I purchase books

“I’ve learned that the stories I once thought defined me—of meteoric success, of public failure, of private devastation—were simply chapters. They were important chapters, yes, but not the entire book. Not the complete story of who I am.”
Loved that Brandy finally got to tell her story in her own words— putting to bed a lot of speculation over the years. I admire the grit, determination and realization that she gets as many do overs, reintroductions and pauses as the rest of us. It may have taken some time but she always came back and gained more confidence overtime. Girl, you are The Vocal Bible and don’t you ever forget it!
These celebrities are just people too and some of them had their youth stripped from them 😩

“Go do what you’re gonna do, while I go sell five million records with Beyoncé.”
Whew, Rodney should take some of that bass out of his voice. Lol I totally get Brandy’s point and don’t think it’s a dig to any other artists; she and Rodney just had that ‘sound’ that Aaliyah and Tim have, Amerie and Rich, Babyface and Toni Braxton, R. Kelly….. it sucks but it happens and it’s so noticeable. She’s spoken about this before but of course people like to take little pieces and create their own narrative which is usually negative. She literally said she wasn’t against him working with other artist but everyone was in ‘reheating her nachos’

Anyone a fan of Cruel Intentions? Any books you’d recommend that fit that vibe?
