Does anyone have any arbitrary rules for adding books to their TBR?
My TBR is huge and ever-growing. It will be a miracle if I ever read them all. So I’ve started to apply a vague rule before a book is added to it, otherwise I will simply add every book I see and the list will be meaningless!
My rule is that at the time of adding to my TBR, the book needs at least 20 ratings on PB, with an average overall score of 4.0 or more. (If I get a direct recommendation from a friend or family member, I will disregard this rule). I know it probably cuts out a lot of great books that simply haven’t had good ratings, but I have to draw the line somewhere!
Anyone do anything similar?

Good Morning Bookaholics!
How is everyone doing?
My question for you all today is... 🥁
What fictional world would you actually want to live in? (Bonus points if you survive the whole book/series) 🤔

Hello everybody! Does anyone have any library books they’re currently reading, have borrowed or is in line for?? I just came home from the library where I borrowed Good girl, bad blood and placed an order on Gideon the ninth and bury our bones in the midnight soul. I’m super excited for both! BOUBITMS will come quickly, as there wasn’t any list on that one, but unfortunately Gideon the ninth has quite a long list and won’t be able available before at least a month… 🤧 but good thing I have so much else to read!
Happy reading and I hope yall don’t run out of renewals 🎉

I'm curently in my childhood home, spending the summer here and I was wondering which book feels like home for you? I was sitting today with my pets and this question came to my mind and I had to give it a longer thought. So for me it would be probably "Little Prince" (this book might be overrated for some people, but it always had special place in my heart to the point that I have tattoo from it), "Martine" Gilbert Delahaye as it's my childhood and I love those books! I even got one from my mum when I went to hospital as a kid and it makes my heart warm up everytime. Also I think "Fablehaven" deserves this spot. Everytime I think about this series and universum my soul is smiling and I think that's the feeling that suits the question perfectly. So which books are IT for you?
