It's been 16 years since I read the book and I've been thinking of coming back for quite a while. Well, it's cloudy and a little cold today, so I couldn't have chosen a better day. It's "hoa hoa hoa" season after all, right ?
I am truly curious to see how this reads in 2025 by the adult version of me (who's honestly still a teen in many aspects - millennials FTW). Will I still like the same characters? Will I dislike them? Will I find plot holes? Will I cringe? And, why am I coming back to this? It cannot all be because of literary intrigue or curiosity...Maybe, in a way, I am trying to go back to a time where the world felt a little bit more innocent, a little less complicated, and get in touch with lil' old me. :)
Welcome to the re-read Twilight journey of a 30something-year-old, I hope we have LOTS to talk about ❤️🦇🌲📖

Does anyone else feel like it would have worked better if the story took place in college with college aged characters instead of high school? 🤔 Maybe this is me being influenced having seen the movie, but I just have a hard time envisioning the story as I read with high school aged kids.. What’re your thoughts?

it’s raining outside…. summer is practically over… I fear it’s time for a twilight reread. wonder what I think of it now, reading it again for the first time with a fully developed frontal lobe
