Rating was purely based off enjoyment vibes, rather than plot or characters.

4.5 stars. Genuinely gripping from the start to the end. A fantastic analysis of the current pushed political messaging experienced in the Western world. I just wish there was more about how trad wives (like Natalie) are pushing the narrative ON PURPOSE.

I honestly don't know how to rate this. I was hooked but I think it was intrigue more than genuine enjoyment. It was very gothic (love) but with really visceral horror (which made me feel queasy). Going with my gut.

As another reviewer said: if you come to read this book with the assumption that you will read a story of romance and obsession, you will quickly come to realise that only obsession exists between these characters. I can see why so many people love this book!

This was some very vivid writing. 'Weird sci-fi' is how I would describe it!
