I was just wondering, have you ever felt like you've read a book before, despite having not? idk, because I only begun reading last year, my first book was percy jackson, and I felt like I read it before, even though I hadn't. And until now, I still feel like this is an issue for me. Very few books didn't do this (for me).
Seriously, I'm going insane thinking about this. Is it because books have become repetitive? Is it a me-problem that I sometimes figure out the entire plot of books from the first 5 chapters? I can't figure it out š

Am I the only one who finds reading the only thing keeping me sane right now? I feel like the world is collapsing and my only refuge are books. It gives hope that we've through this and we survived.

I watched the first two Hunger Games movies in the cinema and couldnāt wait for the final film, so I decided to read the third book in the trilogy. There were quite a few differences between the book and the movie, which made me curious enough to go back and read the first two books as well. And Iām glad I did! I like the film adaptations, but I love the books.

I gatekeep like it's going out of style, though I'm slowly sharing more books I like, reluctantly. I just want to hold them close to my chest and bite anyone who dares try to take them. Even as I'm chatting about how great they are. Is there anyone else, or do I just need to relearn sharing is caring, like a kindergartener? Edit: Alright I guess I'm just a cranky toddlerš

I recently bought Fifth Season! Id heard of it but I didn't realize it was in 2nd person. I flipped it open and it started with "You did [something]" and I was like "Me?????" I really want to know if there are more second person books out there! Not necessarily entirely written in second person but I love when books bring their reader into the story!

Nothing has ever enticed me to buy a book faster than my local trusted book rec lady saying there's a solid twenty minute sequence of just walking up the stairs
Loving this book so far-- Am very curious to know more about the author-- specifically because to me this book reads as potentially reflective of the disabled or neurodivergent experience of trying to move through a world not designed for you
