Reading this book felt like watching a season of “Desperate Housewives”. It’s essentially two women going toe-to-toe to fight for what they both think that they deserve. I can’t say that this kept me on the edge of my seat, but it was an entertaining read.

The characters were well-written, especially our two main characters. Neena and Cat couldn't be more different, but they essentially want the same thing: to have the perfect life that they both believe they deserve. Each woman is willing to do whatever it takes to get that, and when you get two strong-willed women fighting for the same thing, there is bound to be DRAMA.

This didn't have any real "thrilling" moments, but it was still pretty fun to read!

This was such a fun, dark, and fast paced thrill ride!! I love a good domestic thriller that immediately makes you question every single thing you're being told, and this delivered on the suspense big time!

Mary, the main character, is dealing with amnesia and a chronic illness after a terrible accident, trapped in her house while trying to be the dutiful wife to her seemingly perfect husband, who she can't remember. Mary’s journey from confused and dependent to determined and desperate for the truth was so compelling and well written, I was on the edge of my seat the entire time! The pacing was top tier, and the author did a great job laying out breadcrumbs that kept me intrigued throughout the book.

The ONLY reason this dropped down to 4 stars for me was that I guessed the twist way early and because of that the reveal didn't hit quite like I wanted it to.

Overall, Gone Woman was a super gripping, addictive thriller! If you love stories where nobody is who they seem and the domestic bliss is all a facade, you definitely need to pick this one up!
