Inspired by @CrowSong's post 🔗 What was the most romantic line you’ve ever read?, except I want only WRONG ANSWERS. Give me the worst lines you can think of
I just want to have a whacky ol' time in here to start the weekend off right.

Iiiiii am on a search for books about or with side characters that are at least explored a little, that are clergy (nuns or priests preferably). I PREFER Catholic ones but I am open to other kinds also including fantasy equivalents that borrow from the imagery and any genre is fine, fiction or nonfiction. Though I’m not really looking for smut, I WILL read romance - I just need there to be plot, you know? (I’ll also add if it’s romance I prefer it to be gay or sapphic but I’ll give decent het ones a chance if people think they’re well written) Thank yoouuuu.

Happy Friday friends! It's been a couple week since I've done this because...idk, things got away from me. But here's my question for everyone this week:
Marry, Fuck, Kill: The main characters of your last three completed books. Bonus points if you provide explanations.

Howdy, well met, and good tidings to you, friend!
It can be a bit lonely in space, so we’re putting together a crew to venture into the farthest reaches of questdom. First series on our journey? James SA Corey’s The Expanse.
For those unfamiliar, this series is nine (9) books, which is par for the course in an “epically scoped” quest. However, this one is special because it’s actually intended to be read as three duologies and a final trilogy, so that’s what my hope is for our pacing.
We will be starting with Leviathan Wakes on April 1 and taking the month to read through and discuss! It’s about 600 pages (21 hours for our ear-readers) with plenty of thematic elements and characters to keep track of, so take your time. You’ll have a crew at your back to chat with!
Speaking of, in order to help us find each other a little better, if you make your own post, feel free to put OES🚀 in the header/title so we can easily see our buddy read friends. Make sure to follow standard Pagebound evergreen 🌲 etiquette by searching the forum and commenting on similar posts before making a new one.
We’ve got a great crew shaping up, and I’m looking forward to chatting with and getting to know you all as we progress! Godspeed, and good luck, spacer! 💕 🚀

Inspired by a recent post by @LemonLime, share with us the one book you have been meaning to read for a long a time AND let us other users convince you to read it. You see a book you love here? Tell the boundling why they HAVE to read it asap. Do it in words, in GIFS, in quotes, however you want!
Additionally: You can also share with us your no. 1 book you want to recommend to everyone + the reason, and someone might see it and FINALLY be convinced to read it. :)
My book that I have been meaning to read for so long is The Will of the Many

Having just restarted reading Dune it’s made me remember watching Part One and realising I’ve aged out of liking the young-looking protagonist and I’m much more into the aged, greying ‘dads’ and ‘uncles’ type. Which in turn makes me wonder about unconventional characters who I have made my favourite/ended up with a baby book-crush on.
So who are your unconventional favourite characters? Or ‘hear me outs’? This is a listen and don’t judge space 🖤
I’ll go first: • Gurney Halleck from Dune • Death from Discworld • Adjunct Lorn from Gardens of the Moon
