The banter and spice scenes I devoured! I love the inner thoughts of the FMC because it is hilarious and enjoyable. It was hard to put down the book! The attitude of those with money was really captured and the story was extremely captivating. 10/10 recommend

I'm about to start the third part and I really like this book. I had read this before and I did like it, but now I'm liking it even more. I feel like it raises very interesting points on humanity, what's make people human and the dehumanisation that the people of the district are subjected to by Capitol Citizens. It's very telling to see how before the hunger games became this big reality show (before Snow, that is) even Capitol Citizens weren't invested, they didn't really like it. I like also how we are constantly reminded of the districts' humanity through Sejanus and his mother.
