What are your favourite childrenās books and why? Iād love to hear as much detail as you can. Iām a supply teacher and Iām always looking for recommendations to have on hand. Sometimes if I canāt get the book in person Iāll try to find a readaloud on YouTube. Iām so passionate about them and believe theyāre really beneficial for teens and adults too! Thank you :)

One of my favourite points that I can and will actually implement: stop saying āI have to or need to or must do ______ā and instead invite myself to just get up and look at the thing that I want to do. Example: instead of saying āIām going to read one chapter tonightā I can say āIāll just touch the book. I can pick up the book.ā And then however long I can focus on that task is better than where I was before! Another example: I can stand in the kitchen. I can touch the dishwasher. I can touch one sink in the dish. The desire to do more might come or it might not and both are okay!

Got this from the library because they were doing a āblind date with a bookā and OMG I canāt believe Iāve never heard of it before because it has so many elements of what I love about books!! The history and storytelling and complex characters. I have so many books on the go rn but this is already grabbing my attention š

Change a single word in a book title to ruin it/make it silly. Let see what funny ones there are!!
Some great examples ive seen (not mine)
Its been a tough week at work, so I thought this would cheer me up (and maybe someone else who is having a tough go today or recently).
