“You are home,’ he says simply. ‘The bed, the flat . . .’ ‘It was never home until you were there, Tiffy.’”
This was such a nice surprise! I sort of knew I would enjoy it based on its (crazy ridiculous) premise, but I really, really liked it! It was a heartwarming, fluffy read even though it was rooted in some really heavy topics — everything was balanced! I loved everything about this story. It took a while getting used to Leon’s POV but the man has managed to steal my heart. I appreciated that we got to see Leon and Tiffy’s friendship develop first and watching their independent personalities glow. It really did feel like I was in their world, watching them move through life and seeing them make each other better!
who knew falling in love through post-its would be so cute!

“Speaking of girlfriend with short hair: haven’t told Kay about the room thing yet. Not had time. Also, am avoiding inevitable conflict. But really must call her later this morning.”

“I could go back and have a whole life and get old and never see you again, and you would still be it. You were—you are the love of my life.”
Cute! Cute cute cute! This book was queer, found family perfection!
It was such a nice blend of hilarious and also a warm hug. There was something about the characters and how genuine each of them came across, and how I felt for all them without fail (also Wes, I’m looking at you).
I loved the girls and watching their journey. Having a glimpse of queer history from Jane’s pov. I fell in love with the characters - not just the girls but everyone, the queer community and I especially loved the last part of the book, it really nailed the fated once in a lifetime sapphic love story.
This book is straight up magic, a love letter to belonging, community and finding your place in the world.

“Maybe no good timing means there’s no bad timing either,”
this book really out here dropping so many wisdom nuggets, I don’t think I’ve highlighted a romance book this much

“You didn’t try to fix me. You just supported me until I believed it.”
ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! THIS BOOK HAS MY WHOLE HEART!!!!!
This book was everything! I was smiling even when I was crying it’s crazy. The emotions in this book were so real and so beautifully captured that it was so relatable. This was such a well written book not just about love but also navigating grief and adulthood.
I loved reading about Noelle’s journey in this story. Her journey with her grandma, and finding herself and with the company of Paul and Theo. I loved Noelle and Theo’s chemistry as much as reading Paul and Kathleen’s letter. Everything about this story was so warm and meaningful, I love love loved it.
