HIS THOUGHTS WERE ALL CERULEAN š this was truly one of the loveliest books of all time i am so grateful to meet this little family. love our adult characters love our krazy kids i wish that we knew slightly more about the wider world i am deeply fascinated but i think a duology is such a good idea for the exploration of the world Iām so eager to start the sequel!

these are such fun lighthearted reads but i canāt help whenever i finish that with a few little changes they could be so much better!!! the chemistry and bickering between these two has been great in their cameos in other stories and i like that they didnāt jump into a relationship. but then it felt like we stopped in the middle of where i like a romance book to go ?? the conflict was barely touched on and ive found the characters from older stories have fallen in this lowkey cringey joke role. unfortunately for me i will be finishing the series because the premises are just so good!!!

i really enjoy a framing narrative, and the first half of this book is excellently creepy and sinister. the second half drags for me although there is some great prose and the concept is continuously interesting! iād like more closure on the sister character as she plays such an interesting role in the first half of reflecting the reliability of our narrator. definitely a very impactful horror novella(?)

we are so back! as enjoyable as the first in the series, well communicated and loved the build up. my only qualm with the first half is the Sheer Amount Of Times we mention orson being straight like some of the dialogue gets very repetitive in my opinion. but their dates were lovely and the conflict solved itself well although i wish we had gone a little deeper into the past, mostly fordās. iām loving as this series develops that we plant seeds for the other books and artās is one im probably most excited for!

every time i read a contemp romance, particularly a queer one, and get a little cringed out i think āis that kind of the point???ā And maybe it is but alas it means iāll never treat it to a score over a 4 starrer. this is a brilliant premise and one i have enjoyed in fan fiction before despite having never seen any kind of bachelor based source material. i enjoyed our boys and their barriers, especially dev in the latter half of the book but i just find some of the dialogue to make my stomach turn and not in the intended way. give me daphne story though i would eat that up.
