I sat down today to figure out what to read next and I am OVERWHELMED!! My TBR has 300+ books on it, and so many of them are unfinished series. Any tips for shaking off the paralysis? Do you wait till a series is completed to start it? Should I just full send and start them with no anticipated end?

Hi everyone! As the title of the post says, I'm looking for a book to read before bed. I'm not looking for a book that would help me fall asleep but rather a book I can read in bed to end the day on a good note. Preferably the book shouldn't be a page turner or emotionally tasking. All suggestions would be appreciated!!

I watched a video by Jacob Gellar about 1984 today, specifically the way that its message is co-opted. I thought folks might like it as a follow-up to the book.

I really enjoyed this book! It was very humorous and enjoyable to read, although maybe a bit too fast paced. Murderbot was a highly entertaining, relatable character and had good character development by the end of the book. I really enjoyed the sort of lighthearted dystopian aspects in the form of 'corporate overlords', especially since it relates to real life. I definitely look forward to reading the rest of the series! :)

Hey everyone! ✨
I wonder if you all have a certain type of system for rating the books you've read? Or do you just rate it on vibes, like me? I have always been hesitant to rate some books 5 stars previously (for whatever reasons) but now, I have been more open to giving 5 stars ⭐ if I really really love it!
That being said, I'd like to set up a certain rating system for books 🤔 and would like to hear how you all rate your books?✨

The fact this feels weirdly relatable to our current world but was actually written in the 90s boggles my mind!
