Post from the Days at the Morisaki Bookshop forum
this was a book that came at the right time in my life... i read this in February, i think, when i was still living in Elbi for my undergraduate classes at UPLB. to be honest, i was quite fragile then, quite simple-minded. notably, i've also just met a very important person during this time who brought a bit of clarity about my family (particularly the matters we don't really speak about). this book easily brought so much comfort to me as it made me appreciate and see how, Elbi, really has been a refuge for me, especially during the years of my life that i deem rather challenging and confusing. i personally think that this is a book people should read when they are "living the questions". this is a humble book that reminds people that, indeed, you can still start again in life, find joy in unexpected places, and meet people who can heal your heart and make you feel whole.
