Oof! My children are adults. This story is bringing me back to the early parenting days and how hard it was some days!

If you believe women or mermaids can be pirates, find love, set boundaries, and be vulnerable, you will enjoy this delightful tale. I laughed out loud often while I was listening to it!

I going to enjoy this story! I've read some books recently that I don't enjoy the narrators so much. I'm liking this one: a robot with a sense of humor! It's reminding me of Service Model by Adrian Tchaikovsky.

Holy Moly what did I just read! So many thoughts swirling. This book feels like several short stories sharing a future that humanity might go if we don’t figure out how to be in true community. Also very, very queer.

Do I like the narrator of this fictional epic memoir? Not much. Do I love this queer retelling of Moby Dick in space? Yes! It’s hilarious and horrific. The critique on capitalism and the church is wow!

I want to either live in the City and visit the towns or maybe live in the towns and visit the City. I want this world.
