I donāt know why I get pulled into reading these sorts of books with time-separated POVs because I canāt stand trying to keep track of things š I shouldāve known better

Closer to a 3.75. This has a very interesting premise and started strong, but I think Butlerās books typically lack a strong ending/follow-through that I like. Her books are at least consistent in tone and message, but this can get a bit dull after a little while. Incredible piece of science fiction however - I was really shocked by the way the story progressed and kept trying to guess, only to get it wrong. Also, fuck Rufus.
