this book was not for me. i am glad for anyone who decides to read this and it helps them. it just was not the book i wished i had found. i had hoped to see more of a “what i did” vs “what i did wrong” in text form, hoped for more of a talk with a friend type of book. instead you get a bullet list of things to do differently and extremely short chapters which don’t really bring much insight into the emotional, psychological and social part of “changing” your life according to the bullet point. this is not shade to the author, at the same time, like i said, this was not for me.

to say this was a good read, is an understatement. this book definitely finds you at the right time in your life. me personally, i am recovering from a TBI right now and have been feeling very overwhelmed. Having a near death experience really changes ur perspective on things but you can’t put it in words. well morrie could and i am thankful he could. His eager knowledge paired with his simple wit and charme makes this book a warm hug by a person you love. thank you morrie for all the wisdoms and trust, some if not all of them will be walking alongside me forever.

well goddamn, i love these two. this book felt like a step up from tough guy editor-wise. the only thing i really have to ding is that the “conclusion” (the last part) should have been longer. after their confessions it was just one chapter and i didn’t sign up for a slow burn just to get the end result in three sentences.
