  • do you place a limit on your tbr?

i think i'm approaching a point where i'm starting to heedlessly add books to my tbr. not a big deal but i originally intended to be more thoughtful about the books i was adding (i.e., am i realistically going to read this?) but then i came across a bunch of books (mostly historical fantasy, retellings, and nature non-fiction) that skyrocketed my tbr to nearly 100 books in the span of a few days lol. so in an effort to actually make progress on my tbr, i'm setting my limit to 100 books.

does anyone else place limits on their tbr? or are you the type to just add whatever remotely catches your interest?

i normally don't go for books written in the first person but I actually finished this one in three days. really easy to read, twists and turns in almost every chapter and confusing red herrings all over that make it almost impossible to figure out the killer before the reveal. almost. it's possible if you dedicate your free time to murder mysteries a lot and know the patterns but it's enjoyable and exciting even if you figured it out beforehand. The only thing that was a little annoying is the never ending talk about the secret society without it ever really seriously getting part of the story. A few pranks here and there but that's it already. Would've loved some more details before the final chapters here but that's just complaining at a high level lol. Loved the book. Would recommend and definitely read again when the time comes. 🧡
