The Truth and Other Stories

This book isn't good but it's inherently hilarious and I'm enjoying it way too much. It's like when my brother and I watch Christmas Hallmark movies and we try to guess the different tropes they'll pack in a single movie. It's ridiculous but so much fun.

Everytime Luke said sugar, I pictured him as an older southern women.
While the book isn't great by any means, it was hella enjoyable and hilarious. Can we talk about the fact that no one knew why she was actually back home? Or that she got over her trauma in a few weeks? Or that her post-it boyfriend just never made an appearance? (Now that would've been entertaining). Anyways, that was a fun time.

Overall, I really enjoyed this - beautifully written and atmosphere. I just felt... the underlying fear that should've been interwoven with the stories wasn't there. I never felt like Casiopea was in true danger.
