This book out of all Kass O'Shire's books so far, wrecked me. it was more painful to read than the previous ones, and yet again, i am obsessed with her universe.

As someone who has been through what FMC has been through, I know Kass did her research into how different people heal differently. This felt real to me and validated my own experiences with recovering from trauma.

I love Kass's writing, this book has really punched me in the gut, I've spent most of the book mentally recovering from the first chapter. I can really tell when the characters are taking over the story and redirecting it to where they want to go. its sweet and adorable and my heart aches for them.
