Hi everyone! Going through my logs for the past few year to answer chloee's earlier post: https://pagebound.co/posts/50102, I suddenly thought "Wow, 2020 was such a good reading year for me" because I saw that a lot of my favourites I have actually read for the first time in 2020
Do you think about this too?? Having a good year in regards to reading? What determines if it is a good year or not? Quantity or quality or something else?
Which was your favourite year that you can remember and why?

Ello, I'm new! I have no idea what I'm doing and just pressing buttons, so far it's working
Any tips would be helpful!

This is not at all what I expected in THE BEST WAY. It is so hard to search for mysterious fantasy books since they don't technically belong in the "mystery" genre but they're written around a mystery you get to try and solve while you read, all set in a beautiful and fantastical world you get to explore at the same time. THIS FELL INTO MY LIFE ON ACCIDENT AND I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR IT. I am only halfway through but hooked. Blessed to have a day I can dedicate to reading because I'm pretty sure I'll blaze through the rest. I have a few theories I'm working on but hoping I get to be completely blindsided by the end. I have a feeling I'll need other book recs after this to cope. Y'all I am having the best time!!!

my husband and i just bought the full Chronicles of Narnia box set (second hand for $12!!) and i'm so excited to read them with him!
context: he is learning english and wanted a novel or novella to help him with reading comprehension. we chose these because while they are for children, they have great vocabulary with easy to follow stories
i'm stoked!
what are your nostalgia books??

It was great that he included what he was still working on himself to grow and develop.

I want to beef up my fall reading list and am curious what stories everyone is visiting in autumn 🤎 Looking for spooky / fall cottage / witchy vibes 💫🍂 Mine is A Far Wilder Magic, I read it every year! 🥰

“We were still in our orange shirts. Mine had a small tear at the sleeve, and I worried no one could see it. No one would know how much I was hurting.”
My tween self feels very seen.
