Post from the Split Infinity (Apprentice Adept, #1) forum
I’m in the first chapter and the way he describes this woman is the most predictable way a man could write a woman and keeps talking about her chest and how he’s eye level with them (our MC is a short king). Since it was written in 1980 I’m not surprised, but what caught me off guard was him describing a robot’s legs. “They were extremely robust legs, and the crotch region was powerfully masculine.” 🥴

It’s a fun little personally book that helps break down your expectations and your relationship with those expectations. I enjoyed it and I still talk about it even though its been years since I read it.

My favorite YA series of I think all time. It’s gut wrenching and it breaks your heart in a way that makes you want to tear down the world and rebuild it better.
