The depiction of depression in this book as feeling like you’re drowning or always underwater so perfectly captures how it felt for me when I was at my lowest. One page in particular made me pause because I’d never seen those feelings so accurately depicted in art. A great start to a story I will definitely be continuing, plus I like the author’s little notes about the design of the outfits.
