What is that one book that every time you see it on your feed or in the wild that you say “I’ve been meaning to read that. I’m going to read that”
Mine is: Circe by Madeline Miller
I want to read it. I talk about reading it. I loved her other book I read (Achilles). I think I even had it in my home but did I read it yet? No. 😩
I’m going to read that book… someday.

the new wave of climate fiction
i don’t need to explain to anyone why the proliferation climate fiction has skyrocketed over the past few years. this new wave of climate fiction, from 2020-present (ongoing), refuses to exclude climate catastrophe from depictions of or changing world. these works are grounded in present and future realities, the speculative less ‘speculative’, and more predictive.

This book's description of burnout vs. depression is almost hilariously wrong. Burnout is a type of depression, but depression starts from tiredness or stress or a shock, while burnout is when you realise all your efforts are in vain? I hope this is a poor translation situation bc it's otherwise nonsensical

Wooow! What a start! I‘m feeling so blessed that Piranesi sharing his POV with me (or us!) It’s so innocent, so pure and his heart is full of warmth. And his curiosity is so contagious.
I‘m not understanding what’s going on so far but that doesn’t matter. Piranesi is with me and I’m sure we can walk a bit together and I understand the world (maybe even my world!) better. :)
