2nd book in a lovely series. Fluffy, funny and cute romance with yearning and unrequited love. I love the healthy masculinity in here, the real complexities of the FMC going through a tough spot of trying to move past unloving parents and accepting love from others with a supportive friend group. It includes the characters from the 1st book and builds on the realities of living and having friends and the give and take it requires for love.

No Shadow Daddies Allowed
Fantasy romance and romantasy with at least one MMC who doesn't fit the Shadow Daddy archetype in one way or another.
I'm talking genuinely kind and caring heroes, nerdy or academic interests, or a body type that isn't tall and jacked. (No climbing these men like trees here!) Only men who are sad wet cats, sweet cinnamon rolls, or pathetic losers allowed 💖
Inspired by buttercheese69's forum post on the topic.

The author allegedly... killed and tortured people?? "Allegedly" She must really be against the idea of separating the art from the artist

A storyline that feels more unique. Read for soft yearning, mystery and where 2 main characters both are established in their lives yet have experienced deep loneliness and find solace in each other
