Iām feeling curious about the idea of keeping a physical reading journal in the new year. I want to slow down my reading tendencies and make sure Iām spending time with the things I read and actually thinking on them instead of falling into some low-retention binge-read tendencies Iāve noticed in myself this year. I also really want to try to spend more time off my phone and leaning into analog hobbies- Iām online entirely too much in spaces that add so little to the rest of my life (not PB, itās nice here š)
The thing is Iāve never been a consistent journaling type in any way. Personal thoughts, dream diaries, art and creative projects, practical planning- I always struggle and I never feel like a hit a rhythm enough to find it meaningful & keep up with it. I struggle with routine building and self structuring in general and even though Iām a artsy type, Iāve unfortunately never felt drawn in by the crafty customization angle to journal-keeping either.
If anyone to whom this kind of thing doesnāt come easily for has any advice- Iād love to hear other folksā ideas. Thanks pals š¤š»

Hey I need your help please. It's nearly my dad's birthday and as he likes to read I usually take a book and a little something. But I have no idea for the book this year... he likes strange non fiction, dystopia, memoirs, historical books,... Please give me recommendations š I'll thank you š
