Omg Vera is so entertaining but also frustrating! Stop invading someone else's privacy. The lack of self-consciousness is alarming (but then again we won't have a story without her snooping around) 🤦‍♀️

The book compellingly portrays the hardships of being a woman, particularly in STEM. While it addresses very real and serious topics related to feminism and misogyny, these feel more like supporting elements to the main character's story rather than the primary focus. I'm still processing how I feel about this approach. Regardless, it was an enjoyable read, driven more by the character's journey than a direct commentary on societal issues.
