This was the perfect way to finish off this duology 🥹 good sequels actually just hit different, and I definitely agree that this book was even better than the first one!

l absolutely loved the writing style in these books and now really want to read 'The Knight And The Moth' also by Rachel Gillig

After finishing the first book I said that I already liked Elms character and really wanted to see more of him. So when I saw that we were getting his POV I was so excited!

And...yep I absolutely loved him! I think I will thank the trees every single day now for blessing me with Elm! Him and lone stole the show for me!

l am actually sad to be leaving this world now 🥹 I ended up caring for these characters a lot and ugh it was just perfect!

I actually don't know what other word to use to describe this book other than 'perfection' I was obsessed right from the very beginning!

I am absolutely loving this series so much and I had a feeling that I was going to love Isaiah but oh...my...god! He is now my favourite mmc in this series 😩 he has actually topped Ryan Shay for me?? Which I did not see happening!

I think I could actually talk about Isaiah and Kennedy forever and I'm definitely going to be thinking about them for a long time 🥹 Isaiah gave Kennedy the love that she deserved and the way that he showed up time and time again ugh I love him!
