hi hi 🩵 i’m looking to find some more fellow sapphic readers on here, whether you’re into angsty WLW romance, sapphic fantasy, chaotic queer girl energy or just quietly collecting lesbian cottagecore books 👀 drop your username if you’re into sapphic stories, i’d love to follow and swap recs! ✨📚 bonus if you have unhinged shelves or dramatic star ratings

I thought it would be kind of fun to see where in the world people are, and then folks can make friends with people from the same countries/ares (if they way, not pressure obviously). I'll go first. I'm Canadian, and more specifically I am in British Columbia (Vancouver Island if you want to get fancy. Try to find your country and join that thread! Everyone else?

If anyone is looking for additional library cards to add to Libby - there's an online library for QLL = Queer Liberation Library and you can apply online for an online membership card and link it to Libby. In case anyone wants to also support the QLL. Full disclosure, this is for USA/CA Residents, I'm not sure if it works for International. https://www.queerliberationlibrary.org/ For CA residents - if you didn't already know, you only need to be a State resident to apply for free library cards in person, so any city you drive by, if you have time, you should totally stop by to get a card. Does anyone else have tips / tricks on getting more Free library cards to be able to link in the Libby App? For USA Residents and International. Please list your Country/State when commenting so others know for location purposes to figure out how we can borrow more free books at one time.

I need your help to settle a discussion! So, 14 days of vacation, how many books would YOU take? 🤨 Obviously, there has to be a collection to pick from, depending on mood and everything! But total number, how many books would end up in your luggage?

Very excited about this. Picked it up bc of a wonderful staff recommendation in lighthouse bookstore in edinburgh. I usually don't read fantasy but this series sounded like something i would enjoy:)

If youre a fan of the inner monologue writing style, you'll have fun reading this one. Plus the ups and downs are real, one moment youre hooked another youre just dragging yourself across the pages. Overall, an eh read.

I try to keep myself to two these days - usually one fiction, one nonfiction - but I used to read 3-4 at a time. I realised though that this seemed to make me more likely to fall into a reading slump (idk why!!) so I’ve tried to be stricter with myself recently. It can be hard as a mood reader!! Right now I’m staring at a third book and wondering if I should start it or not…
