This book was such an emotional roller coaster, I love it.
The book itself was very well written, and definitely my personal favorite by mads. It felt like there was a step-up in the way she writes in this one, compared to book one and two. And the way she's describing the emotions felt in the book, was in a way that made me feel so much of it too, it wasn't just words on paper for me. (I was literally sobbing in the bathroom at 2AM while my roommate was sleeping) The emotions was so high, that I couldn't even listen to any background noise because nothing fit.
The main couple in this book, Matteo and Evie, such a goof couple. The way they talked to each other, and just the way they thought about each other, was on a new level of good. They're definitely my favorite couple in this series.

Honestly nothing can go wrong with a good old forbidden love in sports romance. This one follows Seren who is the GM for the lacrosse team, and the lacrosse team’s captain, Brad, who also is a firefighter. The forbidden love was good, and well written. Every single reaction and thought seemed accurate and it was pleasing to read. Also I love reading about women who works in sports, it always feels so empowering.
I do also think that this was my first ever sports romance book about lacrosse? I genuinely have zero idea about how the sport works and was sooo confused sometimes😭😭 However it was still good and I’ll probably watch a lacrosse video now

I’m a bit confused on what to write for this book and what my true and honest feelings are about it. However one things for sure, it was way to long in my opinion, and a bit fast paced in the beginning just to become very slow at the end. They literally realized that they love each other at like chapter 15-16. The book was 52 chapters….
