This is gonna be a long one folks.

I think the reason behind the way I feel about Books 6 and 7 is due to fatigue. I've been reading the Suneater series non-stop since March of this year. I can sense an impatience with wanting to finish so I can start something else. This is not to say that the Books are bad by any means. Ruocchio crafted a magnificent epic. Reading it in one go, however, brought me to this point.

I've never been a fan of binging. Blame it on the fact that I'm from the TV generation. I love the week to week wait. Time to absorb what I'd watched. Let it simmer. Binge-culture and me never really mixed. So, I learned my lesson. Moving forward, if a book series is as long as this one, I'll have to take a break somewhere in between and then return to it.
