A banger of a series opener. I’m so excited to keep reading the next book.

Is it just me or is Lex not sympathetic at all?? She’s just a child but the way she’s written I’m having trouble caring about her.

I feel like everyone talks about how smutty this one is, and there is a fair amount of that, but WOW I feel like the world building and the characters in this one were so beautifully woven. There's a moment at the end that took my breath away. The resolution felt so powerful. If you're afraid of the smut, I wouldn't necessarily let that deter you - there is so much MORE to this book than that. But, if you're into the smut...it's some pretty great smut.

I can't remember if I saw it on here or somewhere else, but does anyone else have words or phrases in books that annoy them when it is repeated to often in a book. Right now, the phrase that I am really annoyed with/can't stand is "he/she smelled his/her scent." I don't know what it is about that phrase, but I don't like it. While it doesn't ruin the book (it can be any book) when it appears, but it always throws me out of the moment when it appears. Once of the books that I just finished reading had that appear a few times and it bugged the heck out of me.

I think mine is The Octunnumi Fosbit Files Prologue… the book had a really cool concept but was SO confusing. But it’s one of the coolest books I have, with pitch black edges, a matte black cover with glossy black detailing, gold embossed lettering, and detailing on each page. I keep it solely due to its aesthetic 😂

I'd highly recommend this book, especially if you combine it with the workbook! I worked with a nutritionist through it, and the science-backed evidence helped me so much.
