    ISO of book guide 📚đŸ—șïžđŸ§‘â€đŸ§’â€đŸ§’

Does anyone have any recommended resources to keep up with the cultures/religions/languages/political relations? I’m aware of the people guide and glossary in the back, but I need some kind of outline for the social backbone of the plot to keep it all straight 😅

Thoughts from “White Water, Blue Ocean” (page 151)

“In this world, we are constantly hurt by what we know; it’s terrifying when you can’t put a name to the source of your pain.”

Thoughts from “Creatures of Kings” (page 111)

“Yet even monsters have stories, and perhaps it isn’t really the monster that’s terrifying. But how much of herself she can see in a monster.”

There’s been many books I’ve read over the past year where the theme of monstrosity and humanity and the intersection between the two keep popping up. I especially love this quote and the acknowledgment that “monsters” have their own stories as well.
