Stories about Stories
This list is for stories about stories, including the more obvious "books-about-books", but also books about who gets to tell stories, what versions of stories become "truth", and other story-based themes. *While not intended to be strictly fantasy, this list does lean heavily into this genre due to my personal reading tastes. **Suggestions welcome!

What can I say? Iām a sucker for Avaās flowery prose. I know she isnāt everyoneās cup of tea, I know people probably think sheās doing too much but I FUCKING LOVE IT. Avaās books just have a way of sticking with me, I always find myself still thinking back āwow, I actually really liked that book.ā Not only did I enjoy the story itself, but even the stories WITHIN the book. The literature, the diaries, the history - all of it just captured me.
The vibes of this would fit perfectlyyyy for an eerie white winter. So much of the setting is dark academia covered in snow. Only docking 0.5 stars because the conflict was resolved just a tad too easily š¬ All in all: LOVE LOVE LOVE - keep writing (specifically for me) Ava š

I've read all the other books by Suzanne Collins but could never bring myself to read this. To see the dark mind of Snow. But I feel like since, I've gotten the urge to read it, this is now my sign to actually pick up the book...
After finishing the ones I'm reading.

Chronically Magickal: Navigating Chronic Illness with Witchcraft

Post from the A Theory of Dreaming (A Study in Drowning, #2) forum
The not-telling-each-other-things is KILLING ME. It's not so much miscommunication as it is no communication. But it's also incredibly realisticāthey're in a fairly new relationship, scared of losing the other, and feeling like revealing more of their struggles would just further burden their partner. This feels like a very real issue in newer relationships between two people with mental illness. I for one can definitely relate. It takes awhile to figure out how to be more open with your partner and trusting that you're not hurting them by being honest. Also I feel so much empathy for Effy feeling hard to love š„ŗš¤
