Looks like an adult animated series for Monstress is in the works! I'm a little ehh on it being a Prime exclusive as I'm boycotting Amazon, although I know they've succeeded a lot in the animation department. I also would've loved to see a woman direct this series. However, Steven Maeda seems quite accomplished in screenwriting, show-running, and executive production, which bodes well, especially his history working on the One Piece live adaptation, which I think was great. I'm also deeply glad to know the show will be in the hands of an Asian American.

I'll use words tomorrow.
Edit from the next day: nvm, y'all are right, words are overrated. Just know I was experiencing levels of cuteness aggression I could not contain. My cat had to deal with the consequences (she got lots of forehead kisses).

I really love stories about grief in all its different forms and how it affects everyone differently. Having an opportunity for a final moment of clarity and understanding about a loved one through a shared book is a beautifully comforting thought.
