Kind of hard to believe that this is Cash’s debut novel because she hit the ball out of the park. I liked the book a lot better than I was expecting and I now have a soft spot for the Flynn family. Were they dysfunctional asf? Oh 100%. But I’m a sucker for a book that showcases dynamics between sisters (especially if every family member is all a little wacky).
Going into the book I knew that a silent “g” was added to words that had “nat,” but I have to say everyone online severely over-hyped how much this affected the readability of the book. The silent “g” was not even added to every word that had “nat” in it and halfway through the book it stopped because the gnats were extermignated. Did it trip me up when I would come across it in a sentence? Yes! But it kept me on my toes and I kind of liked how silly it was!

I keep wanting more out of Cathrine but I think that is the intent for the reader to want more and the reader just has to realize that it's just her character!

I love when all the Flynn girls are in the same scene. Their interactions are always fun to read cause they give no shits
