So I'm at chapter 3 or so. I heard not many good things of this 2nd book from the series. (The author released to fast etc) But so far I'm still in love. It's more governmental, war and strategy then love (unlike in the 1st book) but it's great. So let's see how it'll go.

Goddess of the River by Vaishnavi Patel: From the author of Kaikeyi, this is a reimagining of the story of Hindu goddess Ganga who is cursed to become mortal until she fulfills the terms of her curse.

I unfortunately was a child from Christians parents who forbade me from reading Harry Potter! I’ve seen the movies, but reading them is so much fun and how I wish I would’ve read them before the movies. Thankfully I have a Dory’s memory and I can read them without actually remembering that much from the movies

I am so excited to buddy-read this book with my friend!! I've already done it once this year with the inheritance games and I really enjoyed it

I really miss reading books with chapter names. It seems like that has been done away with in modern literature, or is it just me?
