    this was my favorite book when i first read it in early middle school! just happened to find the audiobook on libby and this was really fun to revisit. heartwarming and suspenseful and such a mindf*ck when you’re a child, still a very enjoyable story as an adult. the ending was more abrupt than i remember it being. might have the check out the rest of the series! i only ever read this one
