I will be thinking about this book a long long time.

It pulls you in with its beautiful prose from page one and doesn't let you go until you turn the last page. It's heartbreaking, it's beautiful and it's tragic. I loved the dream-like fairy tale aspect of it, I loved the allusions to the Arthurian legends, especially The Green Knight in the end, and other stories like Robin Hood.

Obviously, Owen and Una stole my heart. The yearning is indescribable. Palpable. Find yourself someone who will wait for you for thousands of years, over and over again. Ugh. Viviane was also such an interesting and rich character. This book definitely warrants a reread sometime in the future, and I'll be also picking up other books by the author.
