i liked this book, it had a very harsh yet palpable depiction of bullying and the consequences for it, especially the conversation that the protagonist had with momose towards the end of the book. i really liked the protagonist but i struggled slightly with kojima. and that ending leaves a lot to think about. not a favorite but good.

honestly i gave this originally 3 stars but on reread it just got better and better and i can’t get enough of it anymore (the show didn’t help)

its soft fantasy setting and precise effective writing is so good at telling these stories of relationships and individuals, had a really good time
